CigTracker Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
CigTracker is a personal cigarette-tracking app made by Jacob Beauchamp. This page
explains what data the app handles and how.
What we collect
- Account: your email address (or Apple/Google account identifier)
used only to sign you in and keep your data attached to your account.
- Tracking data you enter: timestamps of cigarettes you log and
cravings you skip.
- Chat messages: messages you send to the in-app coach, and the
coach's replies.
How it's used
- Your data is stored in a Supabase database and is only accessible to your
account (enforced with row-level security).
- When you message the coach, your message plus a small summary of your recent
stats is sent to an AI model provider (OpenRouter / Anthropic) to generate the
coach's reply. It is not used to train models by us and is subject to those
providers' data policies.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party tracking of any kind.
Deleting your account and data
In the app: tap the account icon (top right) → Delete Account.
This permanently deletes your account and all logs, skips, and chat messages.
You can also email us (below) to request deletion.
Health note
CigTracker is an awareness and tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does
not provide medical advice or treatment for nicotine dependence.
